Road Chef Oven Baking Tray

The Road Chef Oven Baking Tray has been specifically designed to maximise the cooking performance of the Road Chef 12V Oven. Built from durable moulded 304 stainless steel, the tray improves airflow and heat distribution throughout the oven, helping meals cook more evenly while enhancing overall cooking efficiency.

Unlike a traditional solid baking tray that can block heat movement and create uneven cooking zones, the Road Chef Baking Tray features an ingenious ventilated design that works with the natural convection airflow inside the oven. Strategically positioned ventilation holes along the sides of the tray, combined with raised mounting tongues at the front and rear, allow heat from the lower heating element to circulate more freely around the food.

When mounted on the upper shelf rails, the tray allows hot air to move above and below the cooking surface rather than acting like a frying pan sitting directly over the heat source. This helps improve browning, crispness and overall cooking consistency for everything from pies and pastries through to baked meals and roasted foods.

The raised design also creates enough clearance underneath the tray to conveniently store the two oven racks at the bottom of the oven when not in use, helping maximise usable internal space during cooking.
