Dometic tent is a waterproof, and comfortable,
4 September 2023We set it up for the 2nd time in Carnarvon Gorge, central QLD, there are no towns for 100 KM. It rained all night. We had the tent sitting in 4 inches of water as the depression collected the runoff. We made plans for evacuation and the trigger point was, when the water comes into the tent, we evacuate. But low and behold, the water did not come in the tent, despite being 4"" of water outside, the floor was floating, That Dometic Hayman won the prize. Completely dry. We stayed for 4 more nights and the tent held up magnificently. Very comfortable, spacious, for two people, living area separate to the sleeping area, high enough to stand in both areas. 20-30 minutes to put up, not having rehearsed how to do it quickly. 27 pegs available, plus a ground sheet. A bit longer time dismantling the tent as you have to suck the air out to keep the packed size smallest.
