Polypropelene is a fantastic hardwearing performance material that wicks moisture away from the body to ensure that even though the body has sweat or been quite warm, it can still keep you warm and dry. This is perfect for sports and activities like skiing, snowboarding and camping where you can exert a lot of energy and then sit still (like sitting on a chairlift after skiing down the mountain). Cotton is the worst material to wear during activities like skiing and snowboarding as although cotton breathes, it doesn't keep you warm when wet, and doesn't wick moisture away from the body.

These kids thermals are supposed to be worn as a snug fit however they are quite stretchy and so can be bought a size up so they can last at least a couple of years. The neckline is a round crew neck and they are long in the body to ensure no gap around the middle when bending over. They are best worn as the first layer next to the body, tucked into thermal pants for comfort and warmth.
