We don’t use the “mine-spec” designation lightly when talking about these lights. We’ve engineered them to be incredibly durable, and extensively tested them to ensure they will perform under extreme duress in the real world. They are certified as compliant with the following standards:

• IK08: Can survive up to a 5 joule impact from any direction without failing
• IEC 60068-2-6 AND ISO16750-1: Can survive constant exposure to 15G (R.M.S.) of vibration in the 24-2000Hz range
• IP68 & IP69K: Completely resistant to dust ingress, can handle submersion in 3m of water for 30 minutes and high-temperature water jets at 8-10MPa pressure for 2 minutes
• CISPR25 CLASS 3: Will not unduly interfere with radio signals
• IEC 60068-2-14: Resistant to thermal shock – test parameters were 85°C max / -40°C min, 30 min per cycle, 40 cycles total

In addition, our manufacturing facility has been certified in accordance with the following international standards:

• ISO 9001: Ensures quality management systems have been implemented
• ISO 14001: Ensures environmental management systems have been implemented

These lights produce a smooth, even 8° spot beam with no bright or dark spots out to a forward distance of 1 lux @ 270m.

Hardkorr’s HKXDW40MS spot lights are made using genuine top-grade OSRAM® LED chips sourced from authorised agents, to ensure even light throw, correct colour rendering and long service life. These chips are matched with custom engineered reflectors that are manufactured to nanometre precision, and secured within high-quality aluminium housing which is designed to effectively dissipate heat and protect the sensitive components within.
